 Getting started is easy!

Step One: ATLC does an interview with student and parents to begin. We start with a review of any assessment you have on your child.  We welcome any teacher feedback from your child’s school.  Attention Tech has a range of assessment we like to do.  This is weighed against school and state testing results.

Step Two: After a review of all available assessment, we write an action plan for the specific goals and concepts that need to be improved.  This should always be in alignment with your student’s school plans and goals.   The assessment review, new assessment, and plan are a vailable to you in a report format.

Step Three: egin with a schedule and place for tutoring.  Tutoring schedule should be consistent and time should include two tutoring sessions a week.  In each session a review is written and this review is available to parents.  Tutoring is limited to the action plan, however if a problem should show it self during tutoring, the tutor can suggest a review of the plan.

Step Four: The student is worked with in outlined concepts and assessment is ongoing in a fun and interactive way.  Once the student has shown an understanding of the concept, we will set-up a opportunity for them to apply the skill and lock it in.  This will become a part of the final assessment.  An exit test is administered to compare with the entrance test.  A final meeting and review is done with parent, tutor and student.  At this time it is decided by parents if more tutoring is required.  If tutoring is completed, parents will receive the exit report.
